A question came to my mind after reading one of the other posts.
I have never used the dropdown list for 'Resource Type' in the Statistics tab of objects.
What happens if I change the resource type of a SingleProc to 'Store' or 'Transport'. Does it affect the statistics or the behaviour?
Are there any use cases for this option?
Solved! Go to Solution.
if you select the small question mark with the mouse
and then select the dropdown list , you will get a description of
the dropdown list features.
That Help topic is one of the reasons why I wrote this post.
It says that the objects of type Production are SingleProc, Assembly, ParallelProc etc...and similarly others for Storage and Transport..
My question is: How does it matter if I change it to Transport for a SingleProc? or maybe put the type Storage in a SingleProc object's dialog?
The set dropdownlist values have impact on how the MU statistics are interpreted
e.g. setting the values to "transport" will set the MU transport statistics
acc. to the time spent on the station.
Same for MU - production and storage statistics.
