Drag and Drop Shift Calendar

Legend

Hi!

I want to use the same shift calendar for all elements in my model.

When I select all the elements and drag-drop them on the Shift calendar, the names are added in the resources. But, it does not apply to the objects which are in sub-frames.

So, apparently the subframes do not have any unplanned or paused times.

Am I doing something wrong?

Also, is there an easier way to  do this instead of going into each subframe and specifying/drag-drop to the shift calendar in the root?

you can define the shift calendar once for each type of station in the class library. tab controls:

root.ShiftCalendar

Thanks. I was trying to avoid that because I was planning to have duplicate frames operating on different shift calendars.

But, if nothing else can be done, I will eventually do what you told in different model files.

Thanks again..

You could set the shiftCalendar in the class objects.

It should then be automatically linked when drag & dropping the the objects/subframes into the root frame

containing the shiftCalendar.

Or you could use the AttributeExplorer to select and set the objects shiftCalendar attribute

I will definitely do this when I'm making a new model next time. Now that the model is almost ready, it seems that it does not make a difference.

On the other hand, the attribute explorer seems much more convenient at this time.

Thanks a lot.
