Events list

Dear community,

I am wondering whether there is a possibility to create a list of every event occurring during a simulation run?

I understand there is a list of events provided by the Events Debugger - but this list seems to contain only creation and movement of MUs and Workers, as well as animations.

What I would like to create is a list containing every event, including e.g. changes of a state of a machine.

Is there a feature provided by Plant Simulation to do that or would I have to create it myself?

Thanks a lot in advance

best regards

Tim

Hello Tim,

you can only get access to the events which you see in the event debugger.

What you refer to is the change of an attribute.

This might be the direct result of an event like for the failure events where the event causes the attribute 'failed' to be set.

But other attribute changes might happen because an out event triggers an exit control which then sets a machine to pause.

It would be terrible slow if we would collect all these changes.

For specific attribute changes you can add an observer which watches this specific attribute.

Regards,

Ralf

Thank you Ralf, that's what I expected (and feared).
