You do not define self animations for a PickAndPlace object.
A PickAndPlace object does its self animations automatically by itself.
If you want to have another animation, you can either use another object or, starting with Plant Simulation 13.1, you can define intermediate points in robot arm animations (in the property page of the same name in the 3D properties dialog) that the robot shall pass on its way from one station to another one.
