IndexXDim for tables

Legend

Hello,

I have a problem, or rather a question, with TableFile and tables in 11.1.1 and also 11.2.0.

When I enter something into the first column index ([1,0]) of the table, the attribute indexXDim is set to 2.

When I enter something into the first row index ([0,1]) of the table, the attribute indexYDim is set to 1.

This seems quite un-intuitive to me, why is this so?

Shouldn't they be the same?

Hello verbalins,

the reason is that the cell [0,0] belongs to the column index range.

So the cell [1,0] is the second cell of the column index range and the cell [0,1] is the first index of the row index range.

Unfortunately we cannot change this, since old models would not longer work.

Ralf
