Keep track of daily statistics over four weeks

Hello everyone,

I would like to observe and keep track of a buffer's daily statistics over four weeks.The problem is that I only get the final statistic at the end of the simulation (after four weeks).

I know that I can just set the Eventcontroller to one day at a time and extract the results from the table.

However, I hoped that there is also the possibility to do this automatically.

My first idea was to do the following (or use the logic of "while" instead):

Simulationszeit:=eventController.simTime;
t := str_to_time("1:00:00:00.000");

Puffer.statistics(Auswertung);
if Simulationszeit > t then
Auswertung.yDim+1;
Puffer.statistics(Auswertung);
end;

Thank you for your help,

David

Re: Keep track of daily statistics over four weeks

you could try the timeSequence, no programming needed, set the distance to one day and specify the value you want to record

Re: Keep track of daily statistics over four weeks

Thank you for your advice regarding using timeSequence. I read about it in other posts in this forum as well. However, I do not know how to use it. Unfortunately, I do not find a good explanation.

I would like to write the oberved statistics in a table to work with them in Excel.

Could give me an example if I wanted to keep track of my buffer2's statistic for several days?

Thank you,

David

Re: Keep track of daily statistics over four weeks

what data do you need ? Plant Simulation collects a big number of values; look into the Methods and Attributes of the buffer (mark it, press F8 key); the names of the statistical data start with stat.., you don't want all this in Excel I guess.

look in the example, in your case would help a generator. The generator calls the method aufzeichnung with an interval of one hour, the statistics command writes the statistcs into the table auswertung (row by row).
