Line stop problems

Hi friends:

  I have a question, i want to build up a model, whenever one of the machine SingleProc, SingleProc1 and SingleProc2 failed, all three lines will stop, but i think i have some problems in my method, can anyone tell what happen? thx a lot!

Hi,

your method is not correct. The word "speed" is impossible as a name for a variable.

I added a Variable object with the name "speedValue" of type real.

Then the code will work:

 if SingleProc.failed or
SingleProc1.failed or
SingleProc2.failed then
Line.speed:=0;
Line1.speed:=0;
Line2.speed:=0;
else
Line.speed:=speedValue;
Line1.speed:=speedValue;
Line2.speed:=speedValue;
end;

You must think about the event, when this method is called. The entrance control is not good choice.

If you want to catch the event of a failure of the objects SingleProc I recommend to use the control "Fail" in the menu of the SingleProcs Tools > Edit Controls
