Logic behind filling the methods everytime in the new frame?

Hello all,

What is the reason that we need to fill the methods again and again in the new frame.

For example, I have a frame saved as a standard object, but when I use this frame in other Model, I always ned to refill the methods in the respective controls to make it work. otherwise it does not work. but at the same time I am using a method for Processing time and this does not require refilling the methods again.

Why this happens ? can anyboday help in understanding?

Did you enter the method as an object reference (an absolute path starting with an asterisk *)?

In this case you also need to save the referenced Method into the object file.

Hi Siemens Phenom,

Sorry, i did'nt understodd exactly.

What I am trying to achieve is that i dont want to refill all the methods again in the controls when i use the frame in other models. The methods are always saved in the frame.

To achieve this should i use absolute path or relative?

I don't understand your workflow. Could you explain it a bit more in detail?
