Measuring the flow time

Dear community,

i've one question regarding the measure of flow time in a line production; i've done a simple model of a conwip (constant work in process) line.

To use this tool i need to know how the whole time passed by the article along the line; i'll explain better.

The article enters in the line with a code and a fixed exit time; the articles goes through the production line and when it arrives at the end i need to compare the flow time with the fixed time on the card (it has to be lower or equal of course).

To do this i can use

EventController.SimTime - @.CreationTime

but it's comparing just the beginning and the end.

If i want to know the passing of time step by step (seconds or minutes) how can i do that?

thanks.

you can observe the attribute location and write a "logfile" for the MU (e.g. as userdefined attribute).
This is an example for workers, but it should also work for MUs (worker - observer method for the attribute location).
