Method errors

Hello,

i'm modelling an Automatic Routing of a Transporter. (i'm using TPS 14)

To do so, i'm following the instructions in a Pdf i have ('Manufacturing Simulation with Plant simulation and SimTalk').

The Methods in the Pdf are of the type:

'' is
do
-- @ denotes the transporter
-- @.cont is the part on the transporter
if @.cont.name = "Part1" then
@.destination := machine1;
elseif @.cont.name = "Part2" then
@.destination := machine1;
elseif @.cont.name = "Part3" then
@.destination := machine3;
end;
''

When i run the simulation, it doesn't work, it opens me windows with errors related to the Methods. Can someone tell me why? (I followed the instructions well, but it still gives me errors)

If you are using PSi v14, the settings for simtalk are probably set to simtalk v2.0

The code you have posted is simtalk v1.0

Therefore you can switch PSi v14 back to simtalk v1.0

or switch to simtalk v2.0 and  continue in v2.0  (the code will be automatically

converted to simtalk v2.0.)

If you continue in simtalk v1.0  an "end;" statement was missing  (s. screen shot below)
