Modeling 2 outputs in 1 cycle time

Experimenter
Experimenter

Hello everyone,

I am new at Plant Simulation and I have a problem which I assume to be very simple. My assembly station produces 2 output in 1 cycle time (2 outputs in 40 seconds to be exact). How do I model it ? I don't want to set cycle time to 20 seconds per output. I need the visual of getting out 2 outputs from the station.

Best regards,

Alp

After your assembly (really assembly and not disassembly ?)

set a flowcontrol object and connect it with 2 successors.

set the exit strategy of the flowcontrol to  "to all successors"

Station takes 2 different inputs, processes them and produces 2 products at 1 cycle.

Flow continues in 1 line afterwards, could I connect 2 successors to 1 point afterwards ?

Thanks for your reply !

Did you consider to use a ParallelProc with capacity 2? I think that should work for you.

Also note the diference between Cycle time and Processing time in the software. Whereas the former refers to the acceptance of MUs to enter an object, the latter concerns to the real processing of MUs.
