I'm developing a simulation with cranes for line paint. The objective is simulate how many crane will be enough to transfer more pieces.
I'm having difficulties to program the cranes sequence.
Each part (piece) need to pass sequentially in each reservatory using crane to transfer. But the times of each reservatory are differents, well, i would like to make the crane, verify all reservatories and pick up just finished part (piece) to send to next reservatory, after this, verify again for other reservatory.
14 singleproc in sequence, that the entity need to pass using more then one crane, and the crane don't need to wait the entity, put entity in reservatory and go out to find other entity to transfer to next reservatory.

for starting look here for a simpel example:
One way is to create a job-list for the cranes (for each crane one job-list). The MUs on the SingleProcs can look for the next place (according to the process), wait until the place is free and create a job for the crane (source, destination).
The single crane needs to wait, until a job is in the job-list and preforms the transport.
You need to think about a way to prevent/handle collisions between the cranes.
