I have filled the output, input and the parameters for each variable (lower, upper and step).
my variables are integer, so lower, upper and steps are integers too.
But, while generate the design of my experiments an error occures and I don't know why...
Is it because the number is too high ? I don't know why the loop works for k from 1 to 15 and at k=16 it doesn't.... (see below)
Any idea ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
you used a General Experimental Design.
You are right, the resulting number of experiments (variable nExp of type integer) is too high:
661500000 * 5 = 3307500000 > 2^31 – 1 = 2147483647 = maximum value for an integer variable.
Of course, such a debugger call should not happen.
We will adequately treat it.
In my opinion such large experiment study is not reasonable.
Thanks god, I spent 3 hours yesterday to understand where I make a mistake ^^
Of course it's not a reasonable, but I just wanted to auto-set my experiment manager and i didn't specially took into acount the number of experiments with my fake data...
Thanks for the answear !
It's good to knwo that 2147483647 is maximum value for an integer variable.
Where can I find all the data type limitations ? (i.e. number of charac, characters type...)
The Help will help you
use the index-search funktion and type "integer".
You will find an overview in the Reference Help --> SimTalk --> Datatypes
