Multiple Exiting MU in Assembly

Dear All,

Could anyone please explain me how to have multiple exiting MU in assembly station?

In my model, I am going to assemble 4 process and each process has 4 parts (1 main MU  from predecessor_1) and 3 MU from predecessors_2). But, each process has different exiting MU : New MU.

Also, another question: I experienced that the parts from Buffer is not exiting to the Assembly station. I dont know why. eventhough the enteries in that Buffer is 20, it is exiting only 2.

Please help me out from this problem.

Thanks a lot in advance!

you can change the exiting MU dynamically (entrance control before action)

-->  attribute newMU

You need to check your assembly list. The assembly station will request the number of MUs, you specify in the assembly list.

Thank you so much Steffen,

do you have any sample model for the first answer?

yes, I set predecessor_2 has 3 number (MUs) in the assembly table list, but the buffer is exiting only 2.

Thank you!

here is an example, the method is called by the Quelle (exit control), the nex created part in the assembly station is called the entrance control, so you need to set the new part before

And Steffen, is it possible to change the assembly table list for each process?

thank you!

yes, but you need to do this in the entrance control before actions or before moving the main part to the assembly station

Dear Steffen,

I tried as per your advise and could you please check what is the problem in the attached model.

I attached the rough model, need to assemble 4 process in which 2 process have (4 parts -- 1 main MU and 3 MUs) and another 2 have (5 parts -- 1 Main MU and 4 MUs).  I set BOM and newMU path as per advise, but cant able to find the problem where i am missing something.

Thanks a lot in advance!

until version 14 each part needs to come with a connector to the assembly station, this means, you need to set for each part type a buffer and for the main parts one buffer. The assembly parts needs to be connected with a separated connector to the assembly station. So you will need to change the base structure of the model. If you select as assembly list: type predecessor, you need only one predecessor for all assembled parts.
