I am new to this community as well as to Plant simulation and need a help to start up with.
I have around 28 (Should I place 28 Individual MU's here?) parts that are processed in a single machine with different processing times.
Next, among these parts 26 of them are sent to Process 2 and the rest 2 to Process 4.
At Process 2, I need to have 1000 parts each as buffer for 26 parts (Should I place 26 Individual buffers here?). Here these parts are combined to result in 6 new parts.
Process 3: After assembly, I need to have buffer for these 6 parts each with 1000 capacity.
Process 4: Here parts are processed on daily demand basis i.e. for example I process 100 parts per product. All these 8 products have a different processing time.
I also need to transport these parts using carrier too depending on the size of a product.
I would like to know how can I proceed with. Please do help me with this. I have also attached an image for reference.

Should I use different Transporters for each part? (The quantity that would fit in a Transporter varies depending on the part size).
I am asking this because you have mentioned - load parts to the transporter until it is full.
you need only one, you can change the capacity dynamically e.g.
- set the y dimension value of the transporter to one
than you can change the capacity in the sensorcontrol with:
