New at Plant Simulation 12 - Re-entry loop?

Hello, I need to do a re-entry loop.

Basically an entity needs to pass twice through machine 2 and machine 1 again. And then carry on to the final destination.

I think I need to give an attribute to that entity, but im stuck on the syntax. Smiley Sad Smiley Sad

Sure thing!

Basically the Spheres have to pass SM2 (and the drying machine) two times (re-entry loop), before they may be transported to the next department(Drain).

I'm also concerned about the methods used for the buffers for the machines.

Sorry if this is basic stuff, really appreciate the help!

okay: look here
http://community.plm.automation.siemens.com/t5/Plant-Simulation-Forum/How-to-count-how-many-times-a-...

The approach is:
- define a user defined attribute in your MUs (e.g. counter, integer, start value=0, double click on the MUs in the class library --> tab user defined attributes)
- increase the counter in the entrance control of the dryingStation ( you access the MU with @ --> @.count:=@.count+1; )
- in the exit control you read the attribute count (@ is again the MU --> if @.count=1 then --> first time --> move to buffer --> else straight foreward):
is
do
if @.count=1 then
@.move(BufferS);
else
@.move;
end;
end;
