Number of processing units in ParallelProc according to ShiftCalendar

Experimenter
Experimenter

Dear List Members,

I would like to model the following situation: there are three shifts (6:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-6:00) and one station with two machines (processing units). On shift 1 on this station works only 1 machine, on shift 2 works 2 machines and on shift 3 back only 1 machine works. I wanted to use one ParallelProc object and ShiftCalendar, but I don't know how to properly configure ShiftCalendar in order to implement this situation :-(

Is it possible to implement this situation this way or I should use three separates SingleProc?

Regards,

Jacek

Phenom

to keep it simple I suggest:

do not use the parallelproc object  for this case.

use 2 SingleProcs (1 and 2) and 2 dedicated shiftCalendars ( 1 and 2)

shift 1 for SingleProc1  (6:00-14:00   22:00-6:00)

shift 2 for SingleProc2 (14:00 -22:00)
