Open Frame at specific x,y coordinates

Hi Community,

I have a model that is built on top of a cad layout.

However the cad layout is far in the centre of the frame, with lots of white space all around it.

Everytime i open the frame i have to scroll down and to the right of where the model is.

Is there a function (on the open control of the frame) that I can use to jump to a certain part of the frame everytime i open up a frame?

Thanx in advance!

I guess you mean 2D view?

In this case you can create a method in frame with the following code:

OpenDialog(False)
setXYOrigin(600, 500)

Use it in Open Control of the frame.

600, 500 is a desired scrolling position.

If you want to do it in 3D, you can use another code in Open control:

_3D.openWindow
F3DconfigureView([49.158, -50.866, 12.537], 63.908, -45.367, .Models.Frame.Frame)

To get a desired position use can use "Copy SimTalk code from Camera Marks button.

Regards, Vladimir.
