Order quantity to be produced

Experimenter

Hi All,

I have a model with few assembly stations producing 5 products variants [ red, green, etc] with different components being added that at the end give me my 5 variants– 2 of those are being enhanced by adding one more part and then 2 other are being bundled and put in a bag.

I struggle how to define order quatities for my products. What I would like to be able to do is to enter several orders and define e.g. that I want 1k of product_1, 0,5 k of product_2 etc…. and then according to this distribute proper parts to my stations.  I tried to imagine it with delivering table however as I have many sources of parts along the production line I cant imagine how to do that ☹

Anyone can suggest best way to approach it?

Thank you!

Bea

one way could be to use the delivery table to define the number of final products and all other sources produce parts only with a certain interval. In this way, all supplied parts are available at each time. Another (more realistic way) would be to model the part stores with the necessary supplies.
