insert a textured plate into your frame (3D - Edit...), in the menu of the textured plate, you can select your layout file

Inside the frame you want to place the png select the Edit-ribbon/Insert Shape/Textured Plate and select your image

Thank you so much, it works but image quality is not good.

I also set same PNG as a Background in 2D and its quality is very good. Colors are bright and other things easily visible.

Is there any other fine tunning can i do to make same effect in 3D from same PNG?

the quality of both depends on the:

  1. resolution of the png (2d and 3D)
  2. scaling factor (2D)
  3. size of the textured plate (3D)

in the example below I imported a dwg (from our training) to 2D, exported it as a png and used this on a textured plate in 3D, find the dwg and the spp attached
