Paint job: Different Products, different number of paint and dry cycles

Experimenter
Experimenter

Hello Community,

for my Master thesis I am simulating a paint job.

Overview.PNG

The painting time is 2,5h and the dry time is 8h. More or less every product has different times.

Some example times can be seen in t_calc. (Column "Number of paint jobs" shows how often is has to be painted and implys the same amount of drying processes)

I have to do it that way since I only get the total time of painting from the production.

In t_input I try to create a table where the different repetitions of Paint Job and Drying are shown, with the corresponding times (2,5h and 8h).

Now my question:

Since my list is in reality very long. I would like to automate the creation of the production table with a methode.

But I dont know how to do that.

I would like to have at t_input in the table, corresponding to the specific product, at "Attributname" the right amount of repetitions of Paint Job and Dying, with the corresponding time.

For example:

At t_calc:

Product 1.PNG

Product 1, Number of paint jobs = 5.

Therefore the table at t_input should look like:

How the table should look a like.PNG

I hope I could make my self clear.

I would really appreciate if someone could help me.

Thank you very much in advance.

Kind regards,

Chris

Dear simulator,

thank you very much.

Unfortunately I have some more questions, concerning your solution.

Since there are now several e.g. "As" in the Input Table (t_input), does that mean I have several products A?

Because I meant to have one product A which needs several painting and drying processes. Therefore I thought I have to define the number of paint and drying jobs in the table "Attribute".

Thank you very much for your time.

Kind regards,

Chris

I've added a count attribute and rearranged the layout.
