I have been using the debugger when I write methods or whenever an error occurs or I want to know the values of the variables.
However, sometimes to understand the flow in a method and to point out the source of unexpected behaviour, I wish to open the debugger even when the model does not have any errors.
Is it possible to open the debugger at a particular event/time during the simulation?
For e.g. when a conveyor Line reaches its full capacity and I want to debug the exit Control of the predecessor.
or when a transporter reaches a sensor, I want to debug the method called by the sensor.
Solved! Go to Solution.
you can use the EventDebugger for this purpose.
Attached you will find some slides explaining how to use the EventDebugger.
Hope this helps.
Thanks GG and Vladimir.
I am now getting familiar with the Event Debugger. However, that is a very 'manual' tool for the application that I was looking for. The 'debug' statement allows many more possibilities and conditions.
Have a good weekend!
