Good day,

 

I need to simulate a pick and place robot that picks up parts in a buffer, moves them to a process and then moves the processed part to other buffer.

The process should be as follows:

 

Robot picks up MU at "in", moves that MU to "machine", before dropping the MU at "machine", picks up the previous MU from "machine" (double grip robot), drops the new MU, and then moves the previous processed MU to "out". 

 

Any suggestions?

one way is to use a "helping place" for the machine and load the new part to this place first.
like in this example:

Hello,

 

another option would be to use a parallel station instead of the single station to model your use case. Attached you can find a model where your application is implemented with a parallel station.
