Position and size of dialog's items

Valued Contributor

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible, through simtalk, to know position and size (width, height) of items in a user defined dialog.

For example, there is the command 'getItemsList' that returns the composition of a dialog, but it lacks all the information about position and dimension.

Any help?

Thank you.

Regards,

Would also like to add to this issue. Including x-position, y-position and width respectively for dialog item would greatly improve the getItemsList method. Right now there is no way to recreate a dialog since the items are not traversable. Including this information in getItemsList, adding functionality to iterate through the DialogItems or a method to save/export the contents of a Dialog would be greatly appreciated!
