Process Times based on MU not on container

Siemens Pioneer Siemens Pioneer

Hi All,

in my simulation I assemble MUs onto containers and send them to Single Procs, which extract their processing times from a table file. The problem is that the table file refers to a particular MU, but whilst that MU is on the container, the Single Proc does not know which Process time to take. Is there a work around this please?

Many thanks

Kind regards

Irina

Hi Irina,

You can write a short method that looks into the container and looks up the processing time for the contents. For instance in the entrance control. It would contain something like this:

result:=MyProcTime["Times",@.MU(1).Name];

OR

You could decide to put the container into your MU, if that is possible in your case. Then you still consume the container and the MU, but you do not need a method for the processing times.

Gert

Hi Gert, thank you for your quick response.

There is a simple model attached.

If my MUs were called "Part1" and "Part2" and the Container was "Container" for both of them, how would the method exactly look like please?

Many thanks!

Sorry, did it in V12, screenshot attached. You should change the table a bit (need MU names).
