Process suggestion (debris handling)

Hi everyone,

I am in a situation where I need to simulate a process involving some kind of debris lumps (ceramics).

I have some "sources" of debris being transported through a series of devices which break them into smaller pieces (make crumble) the initial lumps. Eventually the product becomes a fine kind of sand.

I may have two types of “sand”, white and black.

After passing through several stations, the final sand is divided into Black or White.

Can someone please recommend a type of simulation prototype (a small example please, I need to take is to a bigger level but I want to get an idea of how to proceed).

Additional info: I know production rates and weight of each debris type.

you can use the fluid library to create your model.

To model the crusher you could use a fluid drain and a fluid source. Crushing means delete the old flow and create a new one with a new material (with a higher density - lower flow rate) this you can make in several stages.

Have a look in the seperator in this example:

you can make the crusher in the same way, just with one exit.
