Processing time from nested table by formula

Hi all,

In the below model, processing time changes depending on the MU.

The processing time has been mapped in the table 'Processing_Time'.

The table 'Processing_Time' is a nested table.

I want to assing the processing time of each machine from the nested table using formula.

So that the processing time of the machines changes depending up on the MU.

Please help me write the formula for the three machines for the proctime.

Thanks and regards,

ABHIRATH

First you need to change the format of your table; the part-names and machine-names must be located in the row-index (see file). The formula looks then like this:

Processing_Time[1,@.name][1,?.name]

Hi,

Formulas can be quite easy, yet transparent. You did use the column index, but forgot about the row index. With those 2 you can easily read information from a table. I have changed your model a bit and now it works, see the attachment.

This is the formula:

Processing_Time["Processing time",@.Name]["ProcTime",?.Name]

Good luck!
