Remaining time MU

Hi, I need to calculate the remaining time of a MU in a SingleProc. Which is the best way to obtain this value?

I´ve found timeToOut method, but I'm not sure if this method gives me the desired value.

Thanks!

Re: Remaining time MU

Hello federoasio,
You can calculate it by using the time when the MU entered the single proc, the processing time for that MU, and the current time.

Remaining time = (time MuEnter + processing time) - current time

Check the attached exemple

Re: Remaining time MU

Hi federoasio,

The MU has an attribute called RemainingProcTime. Each time you call it, it returns your desired result. I suppose you want to use it to schedule some other related actions, like dispatching a Transporter.

Good luck!

Thanks guys!

Both solutions are useful for me.

Re: Remaining time MU

Hello Nomden,

Suppose I would want to schedule the dispatching of a transporter based on when Processing time is complete. What attributes or method calls would you utilize?

I am thinking that you would use an Observable value like Occupied to determine when a part is ready to be picked up by a transporter. I am unsure how to utilize Occupied in order to call a transporter accurately though.
