Attached is the model in which parts are removed from the line one by one while other parts get entered. I need assistance that all 25 parts get removed at once from dryer1 and other 25 parts get in and wait fo 30 mintues. Same with dryer 2.
where you want to collect the members of the charge: inside or outside of the dryer (in the case of a dryer or a batch processing it is very uncommon to collect the batch inside of the equipment), if you want to collect outside, then you need for each dryer a buffer.
The buffer you can equip with an exit-lock, which opens, if the dryer is complete empty and the buffer has the right number of parts.
An entrance lock in the buffer you can use to collect the right number of parts. The dryer then only needs to stop (near the exit) and wait for the processing time.
If you want to collect inside the dryer, you can also use the exit and the entrance lock.
If the dryer is empty (and at the beginning of the simulation) you lock the exit. In the entrance control of the dryer you count the parts, close the entrance if there are enough parts in the dryer and open the exit after the processing time...
In the exit control (rear) you open the entrance, if the equipment is complete empty...
