Schedule Two Parts

Hi All,

I am having a problem with my model. I have two products in my store, I am using a schedule to move them to a buffer at a specific time (See attached file). The problem is that the second product never moves to the buffer when it is called (see attach file for method).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thank you in advance!

Re: Schedule Two Parts

I guess for such a complex problem you need to post your model (or you make an example with the methods).
Do you get some error messages? Have you checked, if the method is called?

Re: Schedule Two Parts

Steffen,

Unfortunately, I am unable to post the original model but I have created a test model. I am still having the same problem with only one product moving to the buffer (I think this maybe bc the buffer is always occupied by the other product, but not sure how to fix this problem), Any suggestions?

I also noticed that both global variables (palletcount and palletcount1) increase when only the pallet enters the conditionroom (this is do to the method). I tried changing the the method to 'var.value := var.value+1' but this wouldn't work. Is there another way to write this method? You can find this in the placeparts method.

Thank you in advance!

Re: Schedule Two Parts

only some points:

init-method: you cannot create parts on a source (there is already a part) --> use a buffer instead

the problem with the counter: you need to differ between the two pallet types (method placeParts, e.g. by name)

in your deliver methods you need to cancel the recursion, if the row is greater than the number of lines in the tables ...
