Setting the value of a variable equal to a value in a table

Dear community members,

I have a tablefile called wantstable and I would like to set the value of a global variable (wantstablequantity) equal to a certain value in the table.

the table has 2 columns. Here the code

wantstablequantity= wantstable[2,k]

I already printed in the console the wantstable[2,k] value and it returns correct, but the method returns the following error: "the expression is not used".

Can you please suggets a solution?

Hi AlessandroPic,

you're missing a : in front of the equal sign.

So you are just comparing the two values. And you don't use this boolean result of the comparison.
