SingleProc processing time error

Valued Contributor
Valued Contributor

Dear community members,

I'm getting the following error for SingleProc: "A time specified has become negative".

It happens only when I use this forumla as processing time:

z_LAPLACE(?.randomSeed,1.4, 0.79)*60

That is a Laplace distribution with mean 1.4 and std dev. of 0.79.

What does this problem mean and how can I solve it?

Thank you

it is an advice, that the value of the distribution function could be negative (would cause an error for procTime), you should set a lower and upper bound for the distribution e.g.

z_LAPLACE(?.randomSeed,1.4, 0.79,0.01,100)*60
