I wanted to change the language from German to English so that I switched the model language in the presetting. Then I opened the model. But the register tabs were still in German. I read in the help handbook that it also depends on the windows-language so I also switched this to English. Is it not possible to switch the language afterwards and only before I create a new model as it is written in the help information?
You need to set a start-option for Plant Simulation. To do this open the attributes of the link to Plant Simulation on your desktop (or make a copy). Change the link-target like this:
"C:\Program Files\Tecnomatix\Plant Simulation 11\PlantSimulation11.exe" /UILanguage:ENU

Dear Mr. Bangsow,
I did everything like you wrote above but when I open now the program everything is still in German.. Do I have to do another step after changing the file path?
You probably have a typo in the command line argument. Please copy and paste the string
so that the correct upper/lower case characters are used. It would really be the first time that this command line argument does not work...
If it still does not work, then go to the Language folder in the installation directory, which is something like "C:\Program Files\Tecnomatix\Plant Simulation 12\Plant Simulation\Languages", and rename the folder "DEU" to "DEU_". If Plant Simulation does not find the German DLLs, it will fall back to English.
