Hi everyone,

I am Marshell, student from Indonesia.

I just downloaded Tecnomatix Plant Simulation last week, but I faced a problem when I tried to install it. It's error message are shown below:

I am sure that the file exists. Is this error caused by the installer file, or this software is incompatible with my computer? I run Windows 7, 32 bit.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Marshell,

I think the download is corrupted, Windows 7 32 bit is supported.

You can check this by looking at the digital signature of the msi file.

Right click it and choose "Properties".

Then go to the "Digital Signatures" tab.

Select the Siemens signature from the signature list.

Then press the button "Details".

On the top of the dialog which is opened you should see the sentence "This digital signature is OK."

If not please try to download the file again.

Ralf

Hi Ralf,

Thank you for your respond. I already check the .msi file, and I found that the digital signature is ok. Here is the screenshot.

But still, it did not work. Do you have any idea? I already tried to download it once more, and it resulted the same. Is there any chance that the problem is my computer?

Thanks before.

Regards,

Marshell

The problem is most likely that the Windows Installer does not have the permissions to access the msi file. You probably denied the "System" group Read and/or Execute permissions to your personal folder. I suggest that you move the msi file to a more public folder and execute it from there.
