Throughput Time statistics for sub-frames

Legend

Hello everyone!

I have a model which has some production modules as sub-frames. I would like to have the thoughput times of the individual subframes(like we have from the drain statistics).

My aim is to know the average amount of time spent by parts in each stage of production.

What can be the different ways to achieve this?

I was thinking about putting something like a timestamp as a user defined attribute in the MU on entry and exit of a subframe. But I don't know if that will be efficient if I have a lot of sub-frames.

Any ideas are appreciated.

This is the classical way to calculate the individual dwell times.

Set a time stamp at frame entry to a user def. variable

and calculate the delta to the simulation time  at frame exit.

At this stage I would'nt bother about ( unkown) efficiency issues.

Thanks.

I think it's better to at least start doing it this way until something better comes up, or something goes wrong.
