Two workers simultaneously performing operations at opposite side of production line

Dear List Members,

I would like to implement in Plant Simulation the situation in which two workers, located at opposite side of production line, simultaneously perform operations on the same part.

The only idea I have is using sensor on the Line object, sensor on it and ParallelProc for two workers (when MU triggers sensors it is moved from the Line to ParallelProc and after the operations moves back to the same place on the Line).

Have you any other idea how to implement such situation?

No need to act with a parallelproc. A singleproc with two assigned workplaces is sufficient‎. Instead of moving the part onto it, just clone it to keep the original on the line (@.stopped:=true). You will need a "dummy"singleproc (no time consumtion) in front of your singleproc (both connected) in order to consider the proctime of you sp correctly. If your cloned part is finished just delete it and release its original (@.stopped:=false).
