Update of lists seems not to work properly

Builder
Builder

In PS 10.1, if an entry from a list is deleted, the next row is copied over the deleted row and remains twice in the list. A proper update of the whole list (removing a line and shifting all other lines below one up seems not to work.

Only when hitting F5 the new content is properly shown. PS 10.1 is configured to update tables automatically (which is done properly in the case of tables).

Hi Mak,

both a Cardfile object as well as a local variable of type list update its contents if an entry is removed.

Please debug the following code:

local myList:list;
myList.create;
for local j := 1 to 10 loop
myList.append(to_str("X ",j));
next;
myList.openDialog;
local myItem := myList[6];

Regards,

Peter

Just have a look at the small example attached to this posting.

Instructions:

1.) Open it

2.) Run the method until the breakpoint. It generates 25 entries with purely randomly composed strings.

3.) Debug it and observe how the randomly generated strings are displayed twice and more often.

Mak.

This is obviously a bug in the software.

We will look into it, but I don't think that we will fix it in version 10.1 any more, because it it only a visualization problem. The actual list data is correct.
