Using Transfer Stations in black box models

Experimenter

Hello community!

I am currently learning the software. I would like to use two tranfer stations to move MUs from two SingleProcs to a ParallelProc. I a using a black box approach, meaning that there are no physical paths represented. When I try to use  the TransferStation linking directly the SingleProc to the ParallelProc the transfer station icon becomes red and the MUs do not flow through.

Has anyone tried this before? How should I use the transfer station?

Thanks

Andres

for your black box approach you should connect the blocks directly with connectors. The connector has no physical representation, it only represents the direction of the material flow.

The transfer-station you need to solve practical tasks like moving parts e.g. between transporters or loads parts from a line to another line.

Thanks,

I really need two logical circuits that exchange information. The first logical circuit will carry the load MU to a point, and wait until a carrier MU is present in the second logical circuit. The function of the transfer station is meant to ensure that the load MU is loaded to a carrier MU.

Similarly a carrier MU will not move from the loading point until it has been loaded with a load MU.

What is the best to approach this?

have a look at the AssemblyStation, here you can load your MU on the carrier MU

Thanks,
I did not get the model. Can you uploaded again?

there was no model, AssemblyStation is a block in the class library of plant simulation

Thanks. I really need to model the process as a carrier/load process like taxis and passengers. If I use the Assembly Station to load the carrier, do I use the Dismantle Station to unload the carrier and send it free after?
