World Cup 2014 simulation model

Today it starts: The Soccer World Cup in Brazil!

Of course it can be simulated, and in this simulator you can run a 1000 tournaments in seconds.

If your team does not win, you can always tip the odds in your favour by a bit of cheering. When Sweden (my country) is playing, that is usually required quite a lot. This time, Sweden is not playing so I honored the homeland of Plant Simulation with my cheering this time. But please don't let that stop you from altering it a little.

I've used the model at customer events and I've put together a little helpfile for demoing. Along with a movie.

Have fun and let the best team win!!

Johan

Hi Johan,

My compliments for the nicely looking model. We have actually used a previous version for this match. Our prediction is 1. Brazil, 2. Argentina, 3. Germany, 4. Spain. We have added the expected number of goals to the matches as well.

No matter who wins, this is a funny model. Thanks for sharing it!

This is the coolest Plant Simulation model I have ever seen. I'm cheering for team USA Smiley Very Happy For USA to win the world cup, I might have to tip the odds by introducing effects of injury, red cards, bad referee, mosquito bites and even sky falling down on teams from Europe and South America. But still then, I think Ghana will end of winning the world cup Smiley Wink
