Hello Everyone,

I am trying to model an ASRS which has z-axis as well. I wanted to know how to go about it.

Thanks and regards,

You can set in the transporter the loadbay type track. On this track you can set sensors and can drive on it with a second transporter (your z-axis). Have a look on the 3D HBW library, the ASRS in this library has also the z-axis.

Hello Steffen,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I understood how to model it. However, as you mentioned, i couldn't find ASRS having z-axis in HBW library. If possible, can you post screen shot of it.

Thanks & regards,

Hello Steffen,

As you suggested, i am trying to create z-axis of ASRS by adding another transporter as RS_z and changing RSU_y loadbay type to track. However, after adding this ASRS in the frame, i am not able to see any z axis in frame.

Part loaded and unloaded from z-axis also becomes invisible.

I have attached the model.

Thanks in advance . . . .

for better understanding: what do you mean with z-axis?

If you change rsu_y back to loadbay type store with one place, you see your MU.

If you need one additional axis (e.g. for deep storage operations), you need to load rsu_z on rsu_y and your part on rsu_z. But I guess, in this case the HBW library will not work anymore.

Hello,

I had a look to your model. You need to change the MU animation path name on your RSU_y to "Track". Then Plant Simulation will use this animation path. Please see the attached pictures...
