machine works in sequence

Hi all,

4 MUs are loaded in 4 stations and one machine needs to work through all station one after othes. when the first station is working, the others are loaded, set up and waited until the first station finishes, then machine moves and works at the second station until finishing the last station.

i did try using a exporter for single step to simulate, but i could not set up time for every single step.

Is there any other better way or calling method to simulate these steps??

Thanks

The exporter is a good approach. To model the loading time you can use the recovery time (when parts enter). If you have setup times for each part, select setup after 1 part (before next part); don't assign the importer for setup.

Thanks Steffen
i have one more problem that after processing, the MU still staying in the station until recovery time finishes (60sec), then there is a worker come to unload MU.
what is a command to call station release MU after recovery time??

this you can do with the exit strategy carry part away (see help), here you assign the broker and define the destination of the transport. You need to equip the station with a workstation (and perhaps workpaths).

i tried it but worker would immidiately carry a part when finishing processing time. What command can i use to call a worker waiting until the end of recovery time??

you could solve this problem with a exit control:

wait(?.recoveryTime);

@.move;

i tried the command but it didnt solve my problem

i did change a bit of model. Above the sttions, exporter is changed into a worker worked as a machine cause i want to show the moment of the machine.

After setting up time finishes, machine will hold MU for 60s and unload. For example, after setting up a MU, machine will count for 60s, then release MU without any notice if MU is processed. i'm getting stuck at this step.

 the command " wait(?.recoveryTime)" that MU was released after 82s which was total of Processing time, setup time and recovery time. what command that can call to rrelease MU after 60s after setting time ??

this should work with a processing time of 60 seconds (no recovery time)

the case is that 1st MU is loaded, set up, then processed in 13s and stay still until 60s, then unload.
After that, a worker goes to station 2, 3, 4 to load and set up MU 2,3,4, respectively, which are waiting for processing. processing the 1stMU finished, machine moves to process the 2nd MU then 3rdMU then 4th Mu in 13s. but when the worker loads and sets up MUs, the machine wil count the holding time (60s) and release MUs.
there are 2 conditions are met:
1st: processing time for every single MU is 13s in order
2nd: the machine will immidiatedly hold MU for 60s after setting up time, then unload
in case that while 1stMU is processed, the 4th MU is set up and started to count the holding time(60s). 1stMU finishes the process and waituntil 60s to unload. the 4thMu may not be processed but after holding time, MU is unloaded.
so how can i call method to release MU after 60s after setting up time is set, and see that if these conditions still met after long processing time????
