start plantsimulation in hidden mode

Hello,

I want to start a plantsimulation instance without any interface. Just like experiment manager does.

In the documentation I see Start Options /hibeBBL but it "Hide Plant Simulation after starting it"

Is there a way to start plant simulation in hidden mode and not start and after hide it ?

Regards,

You can start Plant Simulation through the COM interface and

switch on/off visibility ( s. setVisible)

Default is non visible

Hello,

If you are using a shortcut to launch the application, right click to open Properties...

In the Shortcut tab, change option from dropdown menu from 'Normal Window' to 'Minimized'

It's not just running PS on command line level.

COM is an Interface to PS including the features  to fully hide & communicate with PS.

Yes, you need some (available) language to call Plant Simulation through COM Interface

This could be vbScript available on command line level

or EXCELvba.

I have to check if I have some vba script to run the COM-Interface  on comand line level.

So, there is no built-in solution to do that ? (for me COM interface in not a solution)

Just in case you change your opinion about built in solutions.

Here's the vbs code to start Plant Simulation hidden.

set oSim = CreateObject("Tecnomatix.PlantSimulation.RemoteControl.14.1")
osim.setVisible(false)

wrap the code in a *.vbs  file and run the file from the command line level with cscript *.vbs
