using a formula for arrivals

Dear community members,

i need to create a source with the following distribution for arrival times:

6.99 * BETA(0.362, 3.1)

If I select formula and I type the above formula, the result is disappointing: it creates too many entities. Do I make any mistake?

Also, is it possible to run multiple simulations automatically and have a summary file with average, maximum and minimum values?

Thank you

the formula looks good,

should work in this way as interval in the source:

6.99 * z_BETA(?.randomSeed,0.362, 3.1)

I hope you know, the values are seconds, with the Beta-distribution you get a mean interval of round about 0.7  seconds.

"is it possible to run multiple simulations automatically and have a summary file with average, maximum and minimum values?"

yes, try the experiment manager

Thank you for your reply.

Do you know also how can I transform the values in minutes instead of seconds?

just muliply it with 60

6.99 * z_BETA(?.randomSeed,0.362, 3.1)*60
