'wait' statement

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if there is a way to use a global variable (type: time or real or any) with the wait statement.

As far as I found in the Help, it only supports constant values.

For testing and doing experiments, I would like to change the wait time in a particular method and observe the behaviour.

Any ideas?

Regards,

Sanchay

Hello Sanchay,

Just assign it to a local variable like this:

var waitTime:real := GlobalVariable
waituntil paused wait waitTime

Oh! It works with local variables.

Did not see that coming. Smiley Happy

Thanks very much Ralf.
