This presentation, “MES and Plant Simulation Project Time Machine: Connecting Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) with Plant Simulation,” was delivered by Corradino Guerrasio, Digital Enterprise Senior Innovator, Siemens.

Presentation Abstract

In this conference you’ll see how to use the Digital Twin (Plant Simulation) to empower production to travel in time from today looking into the future and in the past using the actual manufacturing conditions from MES (SIMATIC IT UAF/UADM).

Connecting MES/MOM and Plant Simulation will provide a powerful decision support tool for supervisors, automatic and more accurate definition of parameters and constraints for production scheduling and live 3D visualization of plant status / production in the present and in the past.

To find more information on Siemens MOM software SimaticIT as part of the Siemens PLM product family go to https://www.plm.automation.siemens.com/global/en/products/manufacturing-operations-center/
