Solid Edge Data Management - For The Unclean

I'd like to see a topic that can explore/explain best practice[s] for moving, in my case, years of un-managed Solid Edge data into a managed environment, now that we have grown into multiple users, I find I need to push file discipline way more than I used to, and would love to utilize the tools that are right there in the software, sitting idle....however, our data [that is mixed with general company and project related documents] is currently on a NAS, so I can't do a whole lot about it just yet, until some IT infrastructure is changed. Looking at  using an retired workstation as a Windows "server" [although, just a windows based file share].

I really want to get down to the smaller details of setting up & maintaining a managed environment for our CAD data, and have so many questions, on file structure, and revisions, etc....

Fully agree with @SeanCresswell

In earlier times of the SEU, we had a dedicated data management track, running parallel to the main track and the Development/Programming track.

This should be reinstated.
