Enable Project Export on SQL Server

 First, you will need to enable DTS on your SQL Server:
1) Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Component Services:

2) In there, goto My Computer > Local DTC and right-click to bring up the Properties option:

3) Now, goto the Security tab and set the following:

4) Click 'OK'. You will get a MSDTC Service pop-up message that says that the service will be stopped and restarted.
Click on 'Yes'.

The SQL Server Import and Export Wizard provides the simplest method of copying data between data sources and of constructing basic packages. For more information about the wizard, see SQL Server Import and Export Wizard.

To start the SQL Server Import and Export Wizard

  • On the Start menu, point to All Programs, point toMicrosoft SQL Server , and then click Import and Export Data.

    -or-

    In SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), right-click the SSIS Packages folder, and then click SSISImport and Export Wizard.

    -or-

    In SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), on the Project menu, click SSISImport and Export Wizard.

    -or-

    In SQL Server Management Studio, connect to the Database Engine server type, expand Databases, right-click a database, point to Tasks, and then click Import Data or Export data.

    -or-

    In a command prompt window, run DTSWizard.exe, located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn.
