In addition to seeing the latest capabilities in Femap 11.2, attendees also had the chance to hear a couple of user presentations, and learn more about Femap’s API and free body postprocessing tool, not to mention walk around the museum and look at some of the fascinating exhibits.

Dr. Chris Mairs of Cardinal Engineering talked about using Femap’s API in modeling ship piping and foundations.

The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum was certainly a fantastic setting for this event, and a great way to continue the Femap Symposium Series 2015. Don’t worry if you’ve missed these events so far, you will have a chance to attend one of the others that we are planning at various locations across the country throughout the remainder of the year.
