Accessing old Solid Edge draft files from an educational version

Experimenter
Experimenter

I've been using the drafting feature of Solid Edge for 10 years, under an education license. The last version available was 12.0, and it won't run on Windows 7, so I am now using SolidEdge 2D, but I can't access my 100s of files from the past 10 years using it, since they are educational versions. I am still using the program for educational purposes.

Is there some way to make all these files usable?

No way to make them usable in another edition.  This is "as designed" to prevent license abuse.

Actually there is a student version for ST6.  Go here:  https://www.plm.automation.siemens.com/en_us/academic/resources/solid-edge/student-download.cfm?

Thanks,
