Center Marks

Hi.

I have a circleoffset on a rectangle,  What I want to do is put a center mark on the circle the on the horizontal line of the center mark pull it to stretch the length of the rectangle.

Is this possible?

Re: Center Marks

if I understand correctly...  you want to place the Center Mark on the circle... then simply lengthen the Horz line so that it extends outside the geometry of the rectangle???

if this is correct, you can not do so by simply editing the center mark, AFAIK.

There is a property of the Center Mark for  "Line Extension" but this will extend both Hoz and Vert.

I'd suggest manually sketching the Centelines as you desire.   be sure to connect the midpoint of the line to the center of the circle and be sure to use the correct style for centerline so that it "shows" as best as possible...

maybe others will have other approaches.

Hi Matt.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes you understood what I was asking.  It's a shame really.  This is something that is available in  inventor..

Re: Center Marks

I feel that SE has been very intensional abt things that are standards based...   and nt allowing easy edit of those standards.    good and bad...

if you feel its work it submit an ER....   valid request IMO
